AMK9 offer a wide range of dog training services these include puppy classes, weekly training classes, one to one training sessions, Home Visits, Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards and specialised courses.
Puppy Socialisation
For a great start to your puppy’s education come and join our puppy socialisation course. The course includes basic obedience, people/noise/water socialisation, dog health/welfare, basic first aid, baby agility and puppy education. Only kind and effective techniques are used and the Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Award can be completed during this course. This 6 week course runs continuously throughout the year.
Weekly Training Classes
Various levels of training classes are held throughout the week where you can learn a range of activities including obedience, agility, scent work, games and fun activities. The Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards can be completed within these classes.
Home Visits
Home visits can be arranged to your convenience and are there to assist with everything from basic advice to behavioural problems. These will be tailored to suit individual needs and lifestyles.
1-2-1 Training Sessions
1-2-1 Private training sessions are available 7 days a week. You will receive an initial consultation where you can discuss the type of dog training you require and your instructor will then design a training programme to suit you and your dog’s needs.
Fun Agility
Fun agility offers the chance to teach your dog something new, have some fun and get some exercise for both of you! No experience is necessary, and all breeds of dogs can be catered for.
Clicker Tricker
This 4 week course has 3 levels of learning how to teach your dog tricks using a clicker. Held at various times throughout the year this is a great activity to have some fun and stimulate your dog’s brain.
Mad Mutts
This training course is aimed at helping dogs who are aggressive or show anti-social behaviour. Many dogs can improve and in doing so can be integrated into our normal training classes, however there is never any guarantee that every dog will improve. All dogs who participate in this course will be muzzled to ensure that no accidents or injuries occur.
Search and Tracking
A fun training course with various levels where you and your dog can learn everything there is to know about search and tracking. Courses are held throughout the year.
Kidz Klub
Specially designed activity days for kids and their dogs. Kids and their dogs will have fun, fab times with qualified instructors doing a wide range of activities.
Prior to any training course/class at our training ground all dogs must be vaccinated for the following: Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis and Parvovirosis.
