For a great start to your puppy’s education come and join our puppy socialisation course. The 6 week course runs continuously throughout the year and takes place on Saturday afternoons 1200-1300 at our Hathern training ground. Puppies can begin this course once they are fully vaccinated.
The sessions that take place on this course are a great way for your puppy to learn the correct way to behave and how to cope with the experiences it encounters in everyday life. All instructors are professional, experienced and qualified and only use kind and effective training methods.
The Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Award can be completed during this course. All participants of this course will receive a VIP club membership pack on completion of the course.
Older dogs can be accepted depending on circumstances, please give us a call to discuss further.
AMK9 prides itself on having a different type of puppy socialisation class which does not just focus on obedience, but concentrates on the real world your puppy has been brought into. We like to focus on socialisation including:
- noise/music,
- people/strangers/children/postman,
- grooming/bathing/hair drying,
- water/swimming,
- other puppies and introduction to adult dogs
- vehicles/travelling
and advice on: nutrition, coat care, worming, fleas, vaccinations, crate training, dogs laws etc.
